To report to the Executive Committee and Council on a regular basis on matters related to the Trade and Investment Sub-Committee.

Attend to governance issues as it relates to the passage and implementation of relevant and appropriate legislations.

Liaise with the Government on all finance and finance-related issues of importance to the PSC membership, the private sector, and the country.

Meet with government agencies and other stakeholders on national policies for the management of natural resources in Guyana.

To make recommendations for plans that allows for the use and conversion of renewable energy in a sustainable manner.

To monitor and keep in view developments in Human Resource Development, programs and initiatives in the private and public sectors.

Keep the Executive Committee informed on a regular basis about any interesting developments in the areas being monitored.

Promote dialogue with financial institutions to encourage investments in agriculture and develop the capacity for project execution.

To consult with other key stakeholders on proposed developments and give due consideration to their views and positions.
